I'm 34, from Cologne/Germany and very happy to be a member of Riff Gauche now. I'm a moderator in a small german lefty Forum where a nice fellow lefty told me about Riff Gauche (thanks Paul!). I'm pretty excited about this forum because it seems a lot bigger and more active than "our" german forum.
Playing for nearly 25 years now, coming from punk/hardcore/90s emo & indie/metal and even a Soul cover band I always had my roots in the blues stuff my parents forced me to listen to when I was a child
so when my last loud band splitted a few months ago I decided to move on and am now playing in an old men blues band, mainly covers of Chicago und british blues stuff - which is pretty cool for me at the moment.I already wrote PMs to two of you here asking about buying a Les Paul. And... to be honest I'm really looking out for a new "old" Les Paul, maybe a 90s Standard, or a 1960 Classic in sunburstish.
So thanks for having me and I will try my best to contribute using the help of Google translate and maybe answering/posting in english if that's okay with you guys
