Gibson Tune-o-matic Bridge mod to Lefty

I bought a Gibson Les Paul Future and like it very much.
Well, as they always do, Gibson did not use proper lefthand parts, so i have to modify the guitar.
Bought new pots, will install them with a 50s wiring.
Now i want to flip the Tune-o-matic bridge 180° so it is oriented the right way, adjusting the intonation screws from the pickup side.
But i have to change the saddles too, else the strings would not fit into the saddles because the low e and the High E are wrong side.
Can i simply unscrew the saddles and change them directly?
I never tried this and got new strings on the guitar right now, so i do not want to tetst and waste the new set of strings.

Thank you and regards!

Medronio,

It depends on which TOM model you have, hence : how are mounted the screws of the saddles.

For example, I have done that swapping job on one of my Tune-O-Matic (Gotoh-made, I believe) where the screws where retained in place via "E/truarc" steel rings. I first removed gently these rings with a scriber, being careful that they would not jump in the air because these are springs, then unscrewed the screws, then removed the saddles and re-arranged them, and reassembled the whole.
Have a look to my BIGSBY Tutorial in the sticky posts : there is some pics and infos about that.

A+!
