Even more so if the amp in question does not like MFDs. My Laney TT sounds ok with the MFD equipped guitars, S500s, ASATs. On the other hand the Blues Junior and AC30 sound fantastic with the same guitars.

You're so right! And I find the mini-switch really usefull.
