G&L USA ASAT Classic

G&L USA ASAT Classic in clear red finish dating from 1998.

Satin finish maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, ash body with rear contour, maple top, natural wood binding, aged pearl scratchplate.

Had the pickups replaced with Bill Lawrence Wilde noise free singles.

Got this one used from the US about a year ago now.

Since I posted this thread I found out that it's actually an ASAT Classic Custom dating from 96 - 97.

It has an alder body with an ash top.

This late '90s version of the Classic Custom is different to the current model ...
