You're more than welcome dude. This forum is dedicated to lefty guitar/bass lovers but since we are a little community we know each other and we have fun together. Paul for example is from Ireland and a strong member here (even if its sometimes not so easy for him to understand french jokes).

Je vais te répondre en Français parce que mon Anglais va être trop limité pour bien expliquer le fond de ma pensé.

Premièrement, tu es bienvenue sur ce site, au contraire on est très content d’accueillir de gratteux de tous horizon. On demande juste une chose (et tu le valide quand tu t'inscrit), c'est de venir se présenter, parce c'est plus sympa, qu'on est pas des bêtes, et qu'on est un site communautaire avant tout, ou l'on préfère que les gars viennent tailler le bout de gras avant d'être la uniquement pour vendre.

Et dans ta présentation de 3 lignes, tu dis "salut, je m'appel xxx et j'espère que ma guitare se vendra rapidement". J'appel ça du foutage de gueule, ou si ça n'en est pas ça y ressemble drôlement, d'ou mon commentaire.

Si c'est pas le cas, et que tu es vraiment la pour venir discuter autour de la musique, alors pas de soucis, je me répète tu es le bienvenue

Do not worry, there is an explanation to our friend's reaction : we are often "spammed" by both foreign and french "sellers" which are definetly not serious people, trying to sell fake, non-original or damaged instruments for mint, vintage or brand-new ones. Our moderators are chasing this bad attitude, and that's understandable, indeed. We call it in French "arnaque, arnaqueurs", and there is even a thread devoted to (le post aux arnaques) !

Unfortunately, you came to RG using the same presentation (or un-presentation) tricks as those somewhat ugly guys, so this opened suspicion about your intentions, you guess it now... Right ?

But indeed, you are welcome to RiffGauche. Let us know who you are, what are your tastes, your gear (guitars, amps, FX pedals..), etc... In the presentation thread. You will discover after all that there is no (really) ugly people there (and if there is, they do no stay long, usually) but friendly and helping guys. And you can come from the other side of the globe, or anywhere else, of course, that's not a problem, definetly. Our French language is not academic at all, but most of us are able to write and understand English, even basic. Ask Medronio (Germany) or SouthpawGuy (Ireland), to name a few.
